A fast method to have cooked sweet taters would be to prick all of them with a knife or fork several occasions, then pop them in to the microwave. Small sweet taters (5-inches lengthy, 2-inches across) take about three or four minutes to get soft within the microwave. A larger yams (8-inches lengthy, 2-inches across) takes six to eight minutes to get soft. And it is easier to microwave 2 to 3 small sweet taters previously than attempting to prepare one large one. Believe me.
Sweet taters could be loved seasoned various ways. Certainly one of my pals loves hers spread with cumin. I have arrived at crave mine with lots of good unsalted butter, pepper and salt. OH! And yesterday, I put in just a little cooked deer sausage. Which Was AWESOME.
When I have skipped lunch and want a sweet, healthy mid-day filler. I'll nuke a little yams and sprinkle it with brown sugar, butter and salt naturally follow.
